In November I went on a field trip with my Ethics of Nature class for the weekend. We visited several different places including the waterfall at Glymur, a geothermal power plant and a man who had recently taken over some farm buildings near Selfoss and was in the early stages of developing a permaculture farm there. We were to reflect on the concepts we had been discussing in class and relate them to our experiences of the field trip in our final paper. There were a lot of nice conversations.
